Privacy Policy

SeeResult is an online trading journal and performance analytics service operated by the SeeResult team. We are an online-only product with no public premises. For any privacy question, email support@seeresult.app.

When you register we store your email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), your contact number, and optional profile details you choose to add such as a display name and country. We also store your email verification state.

We process authentication records needed to keep your account safe: sign-in events, active sessions, two-factor authentication enrolment state, password change events, and security-relevant errors. Administrator actions are recorded in an internal audit log. These records exist for security and abuse prevention, not for marketing.

To journal your trades we connect to the MetaTrader 5 account you choose to link. We store the connection details required to maintain that link and the non-sensitive account metadata your broker returns, such as account number, server, currency, leverage, balance and equity. Broker connection credentials are handled only on our servers, are never sent to your browser, and are never included in page metadata or social previews.

SeeResult does not place, modify or close trades, and never holds or moves your funds.

We store the closed trades and balance operations synced from your connected account (symbol, direction, volume, prices, times, commission, swap, fees and result) together with the performance statistics we derive from them. We also store everything you write yourself: notes, strategy and setup tags, emotion, ratings, written reviews, trading rules and daily plans.

Chart screenshots you attach to trades are stored in a private storage bucket that only your account can read. Image location and camera metadata are stripped on upload. Do not upload documents containing information you do not want us to hold.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack. We never see or store your full card number. We store the subscription state we need to run your account: plan, billing interval, status, currency, amount, renewal dates and provider references, plus the webhook events that confirm payment.

If you link Telegram, we store your Telegram account identifier, the link state and the companion conversations needed to answer you and to enforce plan usage allowances. Messages are delivered through Telegram, operated by Telegram FZ-LLC, under their own terms.

Support messages you send through the in-app Support Center or by email are stored so we can respond and keep a history of the issue.

Where you use AI features — assistant answers and written insights — the relevant context (for example recent trade statistics or the question you asked) is sent to our AI model provider to generate a response. We do not send your password, broker credentials or payment details to any AI provider, and AI providers are not permitted to use your data to train their models.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as hidden balances. Optional analytics are only loaded after you accept them, and are not loaded at all where no analytics tool is configured. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.

We process account, broker, trading and payment data to perform our contract with you; security, logging and abuse prevention on the basis of our legitimate interests; and optional analytics only with your consent. Where you have given consent you may withdraw it at any time.

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Supabase — managed database, authentication and file storage.
• MetaApi — the technical bridge used to connect to your MT5 broker account and read its trading history and account state.
• Paystack — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Telegram — delivery of AI Companion messages and alerts.
• Email delivery provider — verification, password reset, billing and security emails.
• Hosting and edge infrastructure provider — serving the application.
• AI model provider — generating assistant answers and insights where you use those features.
• Analytics provider — only where configured and only after you accept optional cookies.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your trading data with advertisers.

Some providers above operate outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on the provider's standard contractual protections.

We keep your account, trading, journal and subscription data for as long as your account exists. Security and audit records are kept for a limited period for abuse prevention. Payment and billing records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. When you delete your account, your journal, trades, screenshots and broker connection are removed.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. You can export your trades to CSV yourself at any time, and change or remove most account information from the account screens.

You can request deletion of your account and its associated data by emailing support@seeresult.app from your registered address. Deleting your SeeResult account does not affect your broker account.

SeeResult is not intended for anyone under 18.

If we make a material change we will update this page and notify you by email at the address on your account.
