MT5 trading journal

An MT5 trading journal that fills itself in

SeeResult connects to your MetaTrader 5 account, imports your trade history and keeps syncing new closed trades, so the record-keeping half of journaling stops being manual work.

What gets recorded automatically

Once your MT5 account is connected and verified, SeeResult reads the closed trades from that account and normalises them into your journal. Nothing is typed twice, and nothing is estimated.

  • Symbol, direction, volume, entry and exit price
  • Open and close time, with duration
  • Commission, swap and fees, included in every net result
  • Deposits, withdrawals and adjustments recorded separately from trades
  • Account balance, equity and margin snapshot from the broker

What you add on top

The synced trade facts stay read-only. Your judgement lives alongside them: notes, strategy, setup, emotion at entry, a rating, a written review and screenshots.

Because the facts and the interpretation are stored together, you can group results by anything you tagged and see what a habit actually costs.

Live accounts only

Every connected account is a real live account, and all statistics — equity curve, calendar, scores and analytics — are computed per account in that account's currency, so nothing inflates your real record.

What it does not do

SeeResult does not place, modify or close trades, and it does not hold your funds. It is a journal and performance analytics product that reads your trading history so you can review it. Your broker remains your broker.

Common questions

Which MT5 brokers work with SeeResult?

Any MT5 broker that provides investor or API access to your account history can be connected.

Can I still journal manually?

You add notes, setups, emotions, ratings, reviews and screenshots yourself. The trade facts themselves come from your broker, so there is no manual trade entry.

Does SeeResult trade for me?

No. SeeResult reads your closed trades for journaling and analytics. It never places, modifies or closes positions.
